WE’VE been working on our first project for quite a while now – at the same time as setting up the business as a whole – so this really has been no mean feet. We’re very close to the end of this build with just a few tweaks to go before our chopped MK2 Cortina is totally finished (we are very fussy with details). So we took a few snaps of the final shape of our custom Cortina so you can see how it’s turned out – when it’s all finished we’ll get some proper shots on here too, with lots of details.

With it’s 4 inch roof chop, shaved back doors, smoothed out and de-cluttered silhouette, vented bonnet, custom glass, panoramic roof, subtle Skull & Pistons branding, rebored 1600 GT engine, with twin Weber carburettors, upgraded ignition system, high spec four port calipers, discs and a brake servo – a full restoration and customisation – this classic Ford is a bit special. It’s got a muscle car look and feel with British attitude. We love the shape, the stance is exactly how we designed it and in fact it looks even better than we hoped.

We had a special visit this weekend from my Dad, (I inherited my head full of petrol from him). Here he is with Stephen and the chopped Cortina.

So it’s not long now folks, have a Merry Christmas, a happy New Year and very soon after that we’ll show you the fully finished car! 💀
